On Thursday 28th September our Managing Director/Founder Ibtisam Ahmed was a speaker at the recent launch of the new Putney Business Hub as part of Start Up Wandsworth. Start Up Wandsworth have been instrumental in the growth of Destinys Recruitment & Training, providing us with advice, skills workshops and our first office space at York Gardens Library.
On the 19th of July 2023 Our Managing Director was invited by Southern housing association to attend Communities That Work Summer Reception at the House of Commons at the Palace of Westminster, where she met: Mims Davies MP, minister of Social Mobility, Youth and Progression, William Miller Director of Social Impact Team and Nick Phillips, Employment Support Officer at Southern Housing Association
On the 14th of June 2023 Our Managing Director was invited to a prelaunch event for a new Apple store opening in the Battersea Power Station, where she met Marsha de Cordova, Labour MP for Battersea
On the 27th of September 2023 Our Managing Director was invited to Women In Business Support Reception at The Mayor’s Parlour, Wandsworth Town Hall, hosted by the mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Juliana Annan.
